Welcome to our Japanese inspired Ginkgo Pod, now ready for purchase!

This small footprint home utilises materials, textures and a colour palette derived and inspired from the ginkgo tree.

Japanese design resonates around well considered small spaces, intricate detailing and a practicality around multi-use of spaces. The gingko pod offers this and more, bringing Japanese living to Australian shores. With Robert's life-long connection to Japan, he has amalgamated his Japanese and Australian building expertise to highlight the best of both worlds.

Our in-house approach goes a step further than just the design and build. With our own joinery, artisan products such as the shoji screens, cabinetry and timber pedestal basins are handcrafted and seamlessly incorporated into the design and build process.

The internal space is open plan, using shoji screens and a rotating island bench to change the nature of the spaces. There is sometimes a lag time between what you see and what you understand.

The floorplan encompasses all forms of living whilst accommodating multipurpose use that is quintessential of Japanese design.
